Walgreens Trip, September 22-23, 2010

Here's what I got at Walgreens. (NOT PICTURED: One snack size package of chocolate chip cookies that Olivia "discovered")  I ended  up having to go over to the one on 4th Street because the Hwy. 80 one is almost always out of everything.  Don't forget that we have 3 Walgreens in town.  You can always drive to another one.  Yay!!

It was a great week for those who love air fresheners.  We cannot use them in our house, but I know several people who really enjoy them (my sister being one of them) and I can gift them to those people.  Also, with Christmas sneaking up on us, I can use these for all of those "Bring a gift that is under $5" parties. ;-)

  2. How do you get several coupons for the same item? Are these always from the newspapers and you just buy several papers every Sunday?

  3. I get most of my coupons from the Sunday paper. I purchase the Dallas Morning News double edition. Sometimes, if it is an exceptional week for coupons, I may purchase two, but this is rare because it would cost me $10!

I also get a few coupons from the older ladies at my church. Once they found out I did couponing, a few ladies started to sporadically bring coupon inserts to me. It is very kind and generous of them.

Lastly, I print the very good coupons as soon as they come out. I do NOT print every coupon that is out there. For me, that is too much ink to use. However, I know that .50-$1 Reach toothbrush coupons means free toothbrushes. I know that .30/1 Yoplait Greek yogurt means .19 yogurt. Then I save them until the sale comes around.

I had so many Airwick because there was two weeks that had those coupons. I also got one from one of the inserts from my church friends.

    Did that help?

    Have a great day!!
