CVS Trip, October 20, 2010

New to CVS?  Read my How to do CVS post here.
Need a list of this week's sales?  Read about that here.

CVS had several candy items at a great price.  I picked them up to use in birthday bags and possibly trick-or-treaters (yeah, we only get about 4!) This is what the little one and I brought home from CVS this morning:

  • 1 Bayer Contour Blood Glucose monitoring system (used rain check)
  • 4 Mentos Gum
  • 4 Candy Bars

Coupons used:
  • 10% off your entire purchase (coupon given when you get a flu shot.  It was given to me by a friend.)

  1. Way to go!! I had some of those J&J q's and kept watching for them and they never restocked. I finally asked the gal who always puts up truck in that section and she said they showed like 50 in stock but couldn't find them so couldn't order more. So my coupons were no good. I would like to invite you to link up your CVS shopping trips each week at Simply CVS.

  3. Pa Kou--I had been waiting for the first aid kits to be in stock for about 6 weeks. I asked the manager about them. He said that every time he puts them out, a certain lady comes and buys them all. So, I asked if I could order about 20 of them specially. He said yes! So I was able to pay for them all at once and not empty the shelf. I'd like for others to have some too. It just goes to show that it can't hurt to ask!
