Walgreens Trip, August 9, 2010

I now have enough eye solution for the whole free world!! This was a fun trip!



Here's what I got:
1 Crayola Posterboard (great for school projects)
3 Renu Sensitive eye solutions (1 "bonus" double pack)
2 Kotex U products
1 Playtex tampons
5 Visine A.C. Allergy drops (yes, I left plenty for everyone else)
2 Ecotrin Low Dose aspirin
1 Bio-true eye solution
1 Pilot Precise V5
2 Dial body washes
2 Nivea for Women body washes
1 Nivea for Men body wash
2 boxes Benadryl (yes, we buy lots of allergy products. We're "blessed" with lots of allergies in this house.)
1 Schick Hydro razor
2 Sunbelt granola bar (more of a candy bar than a granola bar!)
6 packages of Bic ink pens (plenty left for everyone else)
2 packs of looseleaf paper

I started with $6 RR. I did many transactions in order to lessen my OOP expense. Luckily, the cashiers at the cosmetic counter at the Walgreens on Hwy. 80 are super nice! Here's what I did:

Transaction 1

• (1) $1/1 Bio-True printable
• (2) $1.50/1 Ecotrin aspirin peelies that I had from a couple months ago
• (5) $2/1 Visine eye product AND $1/1 Visine from the August Walgreens savings booklet (it took it off 5 times)
• 1 raincheck for 3 Renu Sensitive solutions (get your rainchecks!!!)
• (2) $1/1 Kotex U products AND the $2/1 Kotex coupon in the August Walgreens savings booklet (it took it off twice)
• Crayola Posterboard in-ad coupon

Paid with: $6 RR and .12
Received: $4 RR and a coupon for a free 18-count box of Playtex tampons (!!)

Transaction 2

• 1 Dial NutriSkin Body wash
• 4 Bic Ultra Pens (8 count packages)
• 1 Playtex tampons

Coupons used:

• (1) $1/1 Dial Body Wash printable
• (2) $1/2 Bic Stationary products and the .79 in-ad coupon
• (1) Free Playtex Coupon

Paid with: $4 RR and .16
Received: $3 RR

Transaction 3

• Schick Hydro 5 razor
• 1 Sunbelt granola

Coupons used:

• (1) $5/1 Shick Hydro razor

Paid with: $3 RR and .24
Received: $2 RR
Further action: Will submit for FULL rebate

Transaction 4

• 2 Nivea for Women body wash (B1G1 FREE)
• 1 Nivea for Men body wash
• 1 Sunbelt granola

Coupons used:

• (1) $4/2 Nivea Body products printable
• (1) Free Nivea for Men body wash wyb 2 Nivea for Women body washes

Paid with: $2 RR and .49
Received: Nothing

Transaction 5

• (2) Benadryl Allergy medicines

Coupons used:

• (2) $1/1 Benadryl product

Paid: $6.98
Received: $5 RR

Transaction 6

• 1 Dial NutriSkin body wash
• 2 packages Bic Ultra pens
• 1 Penway Looseleaf paper
• 1 Pilot V5 2-count pens (for my Hubby!)

Coupons used:

• (1) $1/1 Dial Body Wash printable
• (1) $1/2 Bic Stationary products AND the .79 in-ad coupon
• (1) $1/1 Pilot V5 coupon in the August Walgreens Savings booklet (there is also a printable, but I couldn't get it to work.)

Paid with: $5 RR and .05
Received: $3 RR

Regular Price: $129.87 I paid OOP: $8.04 Still have: $3 RR Will submit for full rebate on razor ($7.99) Grand total: $129.87 worth of product for .05!!!!
